BOOKS & ART
The lounge entrance features artworks inspired by “water,” a symbol of Hiroshima’s landscape and a collection of books on the Seto Inland Sea (Setouchi). Both the artwork and books are carefully selected by READAN DEAT, a Hiroshima-based gallery and shop.
PLANTS
Selected by Qusamura, a plant shop in West Ward of Hiroshima City, a collection of unique plants line the eastern counter window, thriving in a cozy spot perfect for solo diners.
INTERIOR
The central pillar, a symbol of the lounge’s interior design, is inspired by “ashirai,” representing Japanese omotenashi hospitality of the Seto region. Crafted from blue foil by Hiroshima’s Rekiseisha, which specializes in special leaf paper products, it evokes the deep blue of the Seto Inland Sea.
CITY & TRAIN VIEW
The full-length glass-walled interior spans across the east and west sides of the hotel’s top floor, immersing guests in an extraordinary experience.Its main feature is the unparalleled view from the Shinkansen below to Miyajima Island in the distance visible only from this lounge.
CHECK IN & OUT
Guests with access to Granvia Lounge can now enjoy check-in directly at the lounge. Upon arrival, simply head to the 21st floor to complete your check-in and begin your stay in a relaxed and leisurely manner.

Granvia Lounge offers complimentary Wi-Fi, and select seating areas are equipped with charging points for phones and other devices.

After the renewal in spring 2025, guests can now check in at the Granvia Lounge as well.
Guests can go straight up to the 21F on arrival to check in, without needing to stop at the 1F Front Desk.
This new service allows guests to enjoy a leisurely check-in.
